Mr. Wilson Tramaine Tolbert, son of Wilson Tolbert and Joanne Jolly was born March 1st, 1980 in Dawson, Georgia. He departed this life on July 20th, 2018 UM Prince George's Hospital Center in Cheverly, Maryland.
He attended Lillie Cooper Primary, Carver Elementary, and Terrell County High School (graduating class of 1998) in Dawson. He recently graduated from Albany State University with a Bachelors of Applied Science, Technology Management.
As a result of his generous spirit and pleasant personality, many loved him. He is a member of New Birth Fellowship Church in Albany, Georgia, where he gave his life to Christ under the leadership of Pastor L.B. Gardner and Co-pastor Betty Gardner. His family became members in January 2000. With his family he attended Largo Community Church in Bowie, Maryland. His life is a testimony to his unwavering faith in Christ and love of family. His influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.
He was united in holy matrimony to Anne Olukemi Tolbert (née Ogundele) on October 13th, 2012 in Columbus, Georgia. This union was blessed with one child Hannah Oluseyi Tolbert. His family was his pride and joy, and he was a tremendous husband, father, and provider.
Left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Wilson are: His mother, Joanne Jolly (Robert); His father, Mr. Wilson Tolbert (Priscilla); his sister Tamika Lucas (Dion) (Fairburn, GA); his brother, Jason Tolbert (Albany, GA); his two nieces, Morgan and Malea Lucas; his grand-father, George Tolbert (Jewel); grand-mother, Hattie Mae Smith; his God brother Deangelo Jones, siblings by his parents marriages; Monica, Gloria, Cynthia, Elizabeth, Wendy, Michael, Tony, Eric and Jabari; his father and mother in-law Gabriel and Funmi Ogundele (Canada) brother and sister's in- law, Francisca (Philippe), Anthonia (Denis), Andrew; his nieces and nephew, Emmanuelle, Marie and Matthieu and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and sorrowing friends.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Martin Luther King Memorial Service in Albany. Visiting hours will be Friday, July 27th, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 28th, 2018 at 11:00 AM at New Birth Fellowship Church in Albany. Wilson's living motivation was to care for his Princess Hannah. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to Hannah Tolbert's Education Fund that will be put in a trust for Hannah's education
