Abe Solomon was born in Albany, Georgia on April 14, 1951, to the late Chester and Beulah Solomon. He was the oldest of seven children.

He attended the public schools of Dougherty County and actively participated in various school functions and activities.

Abe was a very persistent individual who enjoyed a simple but fulfuilling life.  As a husband and father of two sons, he took great care in providing for his family.  For numerous years, he worked tirelessly as a Moving and Storage Company packer.  No matter how large or small, he tackled each assignment with equal importance—always giving his BEST.

While living in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2003, Abe gave ear to God's plan of salvation and accepted Christ as his personal Savior.  He was passionate about studying the Word of God and never ceased to give God the glory for the blessings of his life.  Even in the midst of health challenges, his faith kept him spiritually strong.  Those who had the privilege of his fellowship, including his doctors and therapists, knew that he was a faithful servant who willingly shared God's Word with others.

Having fought a good fight, finishing the course, and keeping the faith, Abe was offered up on August 12, 2021, at the home of his sister, Evelyn Jackson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Florida Williams and Annie Davis.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by his siblings, Willie (Glenda) Solomon, Evelyn Jackson (Dennis Bridges), Katie (Terry) Mitchell, and George (Gina) Solomon; his nephew and caretaker, Olie Victoria; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbors, and friends.
