IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Abe Morman,
Sr.
October 15, 1936 – January 13, 2020
Abe Morman, Sr. was born in Calhoun County, Georgia on October 15, 1936. He was the beloved son of the late Willie Morman and Victoria Johnson.
He attended the public schools of Calhoun County and was involved in numerous school organizations and activities. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Abe was ambitious in all that he did. From a young age, he began to hone his mechanical skills that became his life-long passion and career. For many years, Abe labored tirelessly as a mechanic with the City of Albany. No matter what the assignment, he looked upon each task with equal importance and prided himself in a job well done.
Often described as a people's person, Abe was a good natured, generous man with a big heart and a pleasure to be around. He enjoyed sharing stories, engaging people in hours of endless conversation, and spending time with his family and friends.
On January 13, 2020, Abe departed this earthly life at his home. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves fond memories that will forever be cherished by his wife, Annie Freeman of Leary, GA; four children, Harry (Yong Sak) Evans of Big Spring, TX, Johnnie B. Evans of Belle Glade, FL, Abe Morman, Jr. of Forest Park, GA, and Jennifer Dunbar of Leesburg, GA; one brother of Jacksonville, FL; and a host of grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
