Addie Pearl Cole Porter was born in Albany, Georgia on February11, 1964.  She was the daughter of the late Daniel Cole and Sally Porter.

She received her formal education in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Monroe Comprehensive High School in 1985.

Pearl's greatest love was her family and friends.  She had a spirit of sunshine that could be felt by everyone around her.  Her infectious smile and contagious laughter were only outshined by her unending strength.  She was easily the brightest light in the lives of anyone blessed enough to spend any moment with her.  Yes, she was an angel on earth who left an indelible impression on many lives.

A very jovial and caring person,  Pearl's life was filled with  many interesting experiences.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends; loved to go shopping; delighted in riding with her niece Dee; and she always looked forward to attending the Slater King Adult Day Care Facility where she actively engaged in fun, exciting, and challenging activities and her friends became family.  Music was also an integral part of her life.  She enjoyed listening to music and she had a fondness for dancing. Oftentimes, she could be found "cutting a rug" with her nieces—Cherokee and Yasmin.  Pearl's stamina and strength constantly reminds us that every day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories.

On November 5, 2022, Addie Pearl was called to eternal peace and rest. She was preceded in death by her  parents and grandparents.

Cherished memories will forever live on in the hearts of her sister, Emma "Pat" Cole of Albany, GA; three aunts, Annie Coleman and Doretha Brown of Leesburg, GA, and Ola Will Burrell of Albany, GA; nieces, Genesis Cole, Cherokee Cole, and Yasmin Walker of Albany, GA; great nephew, Zavion Cole; great nieces, Andrea Cole and Jakayla Walker; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
