Adrian Bernard Green, beloved son of Gerry Lee Green and the late Selethia Green,  was born in Albany, Georgia on April 26, 1968.  Early in life, he was taught the Word of God and to make him the center of his life.

He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Monroe Comprehensive High School in 1986.  Throughout his school years, he was actively involved in various student organizations, activities, and sporting events.

Ready to serve his country after high school, Adrian enlisted in the United States Navy; served with distinction; and received numerous awards and commendations as he advanced through the ranks.  He was a soldier to the core and the discipline he learned in the Navy left him.  At the close of  his tour of duty, he was honorably discharged and returned home to civilian life.

In 2011, Adrian married the love of his life, Wanda Pope.  They shared a love and a devotion to each other that was unshakeable.  Adrian was an extraordinary husband and father who spared no effort in providing unconditionally his family and ensuring their wellbeing.  He gave so much of himself—oftentimes placing their needs and wishes above his own.  Family was paramount in his life.

Adrian was a good natured, generous man who was a pleasure to be around.  He had a mind that never ceased questioning, a serious twinkle in his eyes, a smile that drew people to him, and a heart that opened freely to family and friends.  If he could make you laugh or make your day a little better, he felt that his mission in life had been accomplished.  His favorite pastimes included sports, cooking, and spending quality time with family.

On Sunday, April 18, 2021, Adrian was called home to eternal rest and peace.  In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Victoria Jones; his brother, Roderick Green; and his nephew, Roderick Green, Jr.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by his wife Wanda Pope Green; six children, Shanelle Green, Jessica Green, Melanie Malone, Adrian Green, Jr., Eric Morris, and Efrin Morris; his father, Gerry Lee Green; grandmother, Pearlie Williams; siblings, Vickie Green, Tiffani Dukes, Gerry Green, and Ricky Harpe; in-laws, Mary (Chansie) Gibson, Cheri (Charlie) McGhee, Johnny (Deborah) Pope, Jeffery (Theresa) Pope, and Bruce Pope; fifteen grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
