A Time to Be Born: The season of life for Albrien Tyrone Barnes began in Albany, Georgia on February 18, 1963.  He was the beloved son of Princella Stegall and the late William Barnes, Jr.

A Time to Learn: He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Dougherty Comprehensive High School in 1981.  Realizing the importance of education, he continued his studies at San Jos é Technical College in California in the area of Computer Science.

A Time to Plant: From a very early age, Albrien was immersed in the Christian community that would be his lifelong support.  Upon accepting Christ as his Lord and Savior, he united with the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Leary, Georgia.

A Time to Embrace: Albrien was a very outgoing person who embraced life's experiences with open arms. He truly enjoyed  spending time with  family and friends, and his engaging personality captured the hearts of all who knew him.

A Time to Rest :  On Tuesday, May 7, 2019, Albrien's earthly journey ended as he quietly entered into eternal rest at Pruitt Health Palmyra Nursing Home.   In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Barnes.

A Time to Cherish: Fond memories will forever be cherished by his loving children, Mario Barnes and Brianna Barnes-Stephens (Jalen) of Albany, GA, and Joshua Barnes of Tifton, GA; his mother, Princella Stegall; grandchild, Malaysia Stephens; siblings, Cassandra Barnes and Christopher Barnes; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
