With heavy hearts and deep respect, we announce the passing of Alvin Perry, who departed this life on July 9, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on October 8, 1955, Alvin touched the lives of those around him with warmth and dignity that will be forever cherished in memory.

Alvin’s life will be honored and remembered during a viewing to be held at Martin Luther King Memorial Chapel, located at 1908 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Albany, GA 31701, on July 17, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Alvin are invited to pay their respects and share in remembrance.

A funeral service to celebrate Alvin’s life will be held at Harvest Kingdom Jubilee Ministries, 801 Swift Avenue, Albany, GA 31705, on July 18, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. Following the service, Alvin will be laid to rest at Second Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 1675 Goose Hollow Road, Sasser, GA 39865.

We pause to honor Alvin Perry’s memory, reflecting on a life that, though details may be few, was meaningful and valued. His presence will be remembered, and he will be missed by all who were privileged to know him.
