IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Amber Kinesha
Kiel
July 9, 1995 – December 5, 2023
Amber Kinesha Murphy Kiel, beloved daughter of Kimberly Harris Green and Alphonso Murphy, Sr., was born in Albany, Georgia on July 9, 1995.
She received her formal education in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Westover High School. Throughout her school years, she excelled academically, was active in numerous student organizations and activities, and she took advantage of every opportunity to learn and grow. She continued her quest for knowledge at Savannah Technical College where she was awarded an associate degree.
Amber was united in holy matrimony to the love of her life, Jeremiah D. Kiel, Sr. They shared a love and devotion to one another that was unshakeable. She was a devoted wife and mother who ate not the bread of idleness; but, diligently cared for the needs of her family through her employment as a Customer Service Representative with Vyve Broadband. Her calm, caring, knowledgeable, and
accommodating nature enabled her to provide superior service—oftentimes going above and beyond company standards. Outside of work, she enjoyed listening to music.
Endearing called "Muke" by family and friends, Amber had a servant's heart and she felt most comfortable when helping others. The distance that she would go for her family was also the distance that she would go for a friend or a stranger— never expecting anything in return. Her life was filled with a profound motto and interesting quotes…"You need to learn to love without condition, talk without bad intention, give without any reason, and most of all care for people without any expectation." "And deep in my heart, the answer it was in me, and I made up my mind to define my own destiny." "Peace and blessings manifest with every lesson learned. If your knowledge was your wealth, then it would be well learned. If we were made in His image, then call us by our names. Most intellects do not believe in God, but they fear us just the same."
On December 5, 2023, Amber transitioned from this earthly life to eternal peace and rest. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Pope Gibson, and Oliver "Bo" Murphy, Sr.; step-grandfather, Richard Whitlow; and her father in-law, John Kiel, Sr.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by her husband, Jeremiah D. Kiel, Sr.; her children, Amiah Mary Kiel and Jeremiah D. Kiel, Jr.; parents, Kimberly (Michael) Green and Alphonso (Samona) Murphy, Sr.; mother-in-law, Darlene Kiel; siblings, Xavier Murphy, Alphonso (Rhomeikia) Murphy, Jr., Xander Murphy, Porcha Morten, and Donovan Green; grandparents, Napoleon Harris and Leila Murphy; aunts and uncles; two devoted friends, Valincia Kennedy and Petronnia Jones; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
