Angelena Tate Dentson was born in Albany, Georgia on September 28, 1954 to the late Percy Tate and Elaine Urghart. She attended the public schools in Albany, Georgia and graduated from Albany High School in 1972 with high honors. She received her AS degree in Accounting from Albany Area Technical College in 1974.
Angelena gave her life to Christ and was baptized on July 16, 1971, at Arcadia Baptist Church. Later, she became a member of Christian Life Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member of the General Mission Ministry. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and loyal friend. She worked at the MCLB in Telecommunications for a number of years, later she started working for the Exceptional Students Program as an Administrative Assistant with the Dougherty County School System. She eventually retired in 2015.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: LeVetta (Troy) Davis, Shandrika Nealy, Tashonda (Johnny) Reddick, Kawolski (Chino) Johnson and beloved sister friend, Gloria Weeks, brothers: Anthony Branch, George (Geanine) Owens, and Edward Green, grandchildren: Malik & Mekhi Davis, Alanna Reddick and her beloved dog, Max A Million.
