Anita Sherlette Ross was born on August 27, 1970 in Albany, GA. She was the beloved daughter of the late Gloria Ross and Tommy Lee
Tookes.

She received her primary and secondary education in the Dougherty County School System and enjoyed various activities including
cheerleading and running track.

She attended The Riley Training Institute and received a Diploma in Clerical and Computer work. After becoming a mother, she began her career as a server at Steak n Shake and dedicated over 20 years of loyal service to them. She took pride in her work and served more
love than anything else.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother who was truly dedicated to her family and never missed an opportunity to bond and spend
quality time with them. Not only was she a mother of four, but she was also a mother to all. Family was the center of her life and her instinct to nurture was always present. She was the definition of a hard worker. She was genuine, kind-hearted, and embraced life's experiences with open arms.

On Thursday, June 15, 2023, Anita faced the sunset of her earthly journey and entered into eternal rest. She is preceded in death by her
nephew Quavante Ross Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory, four children; Shenequia Hale (Trevar Sr.), Keyshunbria Hunter (Tyrone), Zanquavious Hunter and Zemontreyl Gibson. Five beautiful grandchildren Tristan, Trevar Jr., Tiana, Trudy and Trevan. Her partner in love John Hodges, siblings;
Sandra Ross, Tommy Lee Ross and Kamilah Ross, her nieces Katavia, Kendra and Tequilla and nephew Yusef, great nephews; Danardrick,
Dontievis and Quavante Jr and great niece Indica.
