IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Annie Grace
Williams
October 6, 1953 – May 22, 2023
Annie Grace Keaton Williams was born October 6, 1953, in Albany, Georgia. She departed this life on Monday, May 22, 2023. Her parents, the late Lorenzo Keaton, Sr. and Katie Keaton, along with her three deceased siblings, Delores Miller, Willie James Keaton, and Shelley Keaton were all standing at heaven's gate to welcome her home.
Grace received her elementary and secondary education in the public schools of Dougherty County. After graduating from Monroe High School, she attended Albany State College, where she earned a B.S. degree in Social Work and the M.S. degree in Criminal Justice.
Since Grace enjoyed helping people, she worked numerous years in the nursing departments at Phoebe Putney Hospital and Nurse Care. Eventually, she became the director of the ARC Source Program and Rams Arms, where she was able to help even more people.
Grace accepted Christ at an early age. She joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she sang in the junior choir. Although she did not consider herself a gifted singer, she truly enjoyed singing; especially religious songs. Her favorite song was "Precious Lord." She also enjoyed talking about our savior, Jesus Christ and communing with Him.
Grace will be truly missed. She leaves to cherish her memory four siblings, Dr. Jesse Keaton (Mary) and Lorenzo Keaton (Faye) of Albany, GA, Dr. Mollie Keaton and Dr. Loras Keaton of Atlanta, GA; two aunts, Ms. Dorothy Keaton of Albany, GA and Ms. Mildred Taylor of Philadelphia, PA; her sister-in-law, Mrs. Mildred Keaton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
