Annie Lee Hilson , beloved daughter of the late Royce and Annie Bell Hilson, was born in Baker County, Georgia on April 27, 1947.

After relocating to Albany, Georgia with her parents as a youth, she attended the public schools of Dougherty County, including Monroe High School where she graduated in 1965.  While at Monroe, she was active in numerous school organizations and activities.

At a young age, Annie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with the Chapel Hill Baptist Church of Newton, Georgia.   She was a faithful member for numerous years and readily assisted wherever need.  Through the years,  she remained obedient in her walk with the Lord.

Domestic at heart, Annie was constant in her efforts to provide unconditionally for her family.  She had a wonderful way of connecting with her children and grandchildren, always encouraging their hearts.

Annie was a very perceptive, good-natured, and genuine person who was a joy to be around.  She was a lady of great humility, integrity, and unparalleled kindness; whose heart was filled with love and compassion; who had a ready smile and a helping hand; who saw the highest potential in everyone; and whose family and friends meant the world to her.   She will be missed by all who loved her dearly.

On Monday, October 28, 2019, Annie departed this earthly life at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Judwanda Hilson; and three siblings, Bertha Dykes, John H. Hilson, and Michael Hilson.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by her loving children, Subrieca Hilson, John (Priscilia) Hison, and Royce Hilson all of Albany, GA; grandchildren, Santambra Moore, Shavoker Hilson, Tyrone Mathis, Kentorian Hilson, DeAndre Green, Jayline Hilson, Shy Dawson, Javian Hilson, Jeremiah Hilson, Limiah Wallace, and Jamaiya Rice; six great grandchildren; siblings, William Hilson and Ananis (Linda) Hilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
