IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Annie "Vera"
Paige
July 19, 1944 – August 21, 2017
Annie Vera Paige, daughter of the late Ethel and Ben Paige, was born on July 19, 1944, in Calhoun County.
She received her formal education in the public schools of Morgan, Georgia, including H. T. Singleton High School and participated in various school functions and activities.
Upon the profession of her faith and belief in Christ at a very early age, she united with the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Leary, Georgia.
Annie was a persistent, hardworking mother who dedicated much of her time and energy to caring for the needs of her family. Over the years, she skillfully balanced her life as a homemaker with her employment as a domestic engineer. One of the joys of her life was cooking and her table was always spread to anyone in need. She was known throughout the community for her AWESOME sweet potato pies.
On Monday, August 21, 2017, Annie quietly departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sabrina Paige Pollard; and one sister, Fannie Paige.
She leaves to cherish the memories of her life, two grandchildren, A'Brianna Pollard Willis (Brandon) of Albany, GA and Jh'Keric Pollard of Atlanta, GA; great grandchildren, Kynnedi Knowles and Donovan Willis of Albany, GA; her son-in-law, Jermund Pollard of Atlanta, GA; two siblings, Johnnie Mae Paige of Anaheim, CA and Bennie Paige of Macon, GA; a special cousin, David Mitchell of Albany, GA; two very special friends, Salisa Harris-Guest of Albany, GA and Barbara Waters of Americus, GA; a goddaughter, Glenda Carr of Albany, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
