IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Antwan
Bonner
January 3, 1985 – June 9, 2020
Antwan Bonner, son of Stacy (Sherry) Marshall and Lashana (Jimmy) Hines, was born in Albany, Georgia on January 3, 1985. At an early age, he professed his faith in Christ Jesus.
He attended the public schools of Dougherty County, graduating from Westover High School in 2004. While at Westover, he was active in numerous school organizations, activities and sporting events.
Never afraid of hard work, Antwan was a very conscientious individual who gave his best at whatever he did. He was loyal, self-motivated employee of the Dougherty County School System for over 10 years.
"Kartier" and "Twan" as he was fondly called, was often described as an energetic, witty, and happy individual who garnered much from his life experiences. He took advantage of every opportunity to spend time with his family and friends. His engaging personality, gigantic heart, and wonderful sense of humor captured the hearts of many people. He was a friend you could depend on and was always ready to lend a helping hand wherever needed. The strong bonds of friendship that he developed throughout his life will long be remembered and cherished.
On June 9, 2020, Antwan quietly transitioned to eternal rest. Although his earthly departure leaves a void, his encouraging words; generous spirit; and kind deeds will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have been a part of his life.
Cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of his children, Amya Bonner, Tinya Bonner, and Carmelo Bonner; grandmother, Brenda Bonner; brothers, Stacy Boyd, Markeye Bonner, Dontavius Bonner, Charaye Marshall, and Chanard Marshall; aunts and uncles, Andrea (Michael) White, Linda Bonner, Sabrina (Johnny) Hayes, Rose (John) Moses-Crowley, Charyl (Paul) Merritt, Craig Moses, and Albert (Labica) Marshall; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
