IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Audrey Renee
Woolfork Crawford
June 8, 1966 – January 2, 2024
Audrey Renee Woolfork Crawford was born on June 8, 1966, in Albany, Georgia . She was the beloved daughter of Rosa Hardrick Woolfork and the late John H. Woolfork.
She was educated in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Monroe Comprehensive High School in 1984. Throughout her school years, Audrey was a very inquisitive student with a zeal for knowledge and a beaming temperament that was a ray of sunshine to peers, teachers, and close friends. Believing strongly in higher education, she continued her quest for knowledge at Albany Technical College in Dental Assisting.
Audrey dedicated her life to the service of Jehovah God by water baptism in 1981. She was a faithful servant, loved her congregation, and was unceasingly committed to sharing her knowledge of Jehovah and his kingdom with others. Oftentimes in her daily walk, she could be found reaching out to others in need of compassion, support, guidance and direction.
In 1993, Audrey married her true love, James Crawford, Jr. They shared a bond that endured through the years and their union was blessed with a loving son, James Dominique. She was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker, and parttime school bus driver whose diligence in caring for her family was the cornerstone of who she was.
A very loving and caring individual, Audrey's life is best described by the words of the song, "Take sides with Jehovah, make him your delight; he will never forsake you, walk on in his light." Family and friends were paramount in her life and she loved spending time with them. Her warm smile, compassionate spirit, and kind words and deeds enriched the lives of all who knew her. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of her life.
Audrey peacefully transitioned from this earthly life on January 2, 2024. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her eldest sister, Oretha Regina Woolfork.
Loving memories will forever remain with her husband, James Crawford, Jr.; her son, James Dominique Crawford; mother, Rosa Woolfork; grandmother, Louise Hardrick; sister, Sabrina Walker; aunts and uncle, Barbara (Tommie) Moore, Gloria Campbell, Jacqueline Hardrick, and Donald Clarke; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
