Benjamin Perry Persley, Sr.

With deep respect and fond remembrance, we honor the life and legacy of Benjamin Perry Persley, Sr., who was born on May 8, 1957, and passed away on August 4, 2026. Throughout his 69 years, Benjamin touched the lives of those around him with his presence, values, and steadfast love for his community.

Benjamin’s journey through life was marked by quiet strength and a deep sense of commitment to the people and places that shaped him. His legacy is one built on integrity, perseverance, and the respect he earned from all who had the privilege of knowing him. Family, friends, and all those connected to Benjamin are invited to gather in remembrance and gratitude for a life well-lived. A viewing will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Martin Luther King Memorial Chapel, located at 1908 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Albany, GA 31701. The funeral service will take place the following day, Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM at New Seasons Church At Radium Springs, 2402 Roxanna Road, Albany, GA 31705.
