A Time To Be Born: Mrs. Bennie Mae Robinson Butler was born on December 7, 1936 to the late Mrs. Bessie Barge and the late Mr. Deal Robinson in Dougherty County, Albany, Georgia.

A Time To Plant: At an early age Mrs. Butler confessed Christ as her Savior and joined Oakie Hill Baptist Church.  Later, she became a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her marriage.  She then planted her fellowship with Saint Paul Baptist Church Family and served in many capacities over the years, including the Deaconess and Mission Ministries.

A Time To Serve: Mrs. Butler extended her service into the schools and communities, after preparing herself educationally.  She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Albany State College. Later, she received her Master of Education Degree from Georgia State University.  With the above preparation, she served as an educator in the Terrell, Sumter, Dougherty and Lowndes County Public School Systems.

A Time To Love: On July 1, 1962, she was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Mr. Jesse D. Butler and spent fifty-two harmonious years together until he was called to rest.

A Time To Rest: Mrs. Butler's life ended unexpectedly on this side on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her residence.

A Time Of Peace: Mrs. Butler leaves to celebrate her glorious homegoing a loving and caring daughter, Gloria Jean Butler Bryant of Jacksonville, FL; one grandson, Kenneth Bryant of Jacksonville, FL; four great grandchildren, Kenyatta Bryant, Kayla Bryant, Kenyon Bryant, and Kendrick Bryant all of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Irene Ball of Albany, GA and Agnes Wesley of Atlanta, GA; two loving and devoted cousins, Ruby Lois Lewis and Johnny B. Lewis of Albany, GA; a loving and devoted niece. Dr. Ola M. Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends .
