Bernice Reddick Walker, daughter of Andrew Reddick and the late Gussie Young Reddick, was born on September 8, 1964, in Lee County, Georgia.

She received her formal education in the public schools of Sumter County where she was active in numerous school functions.

At a very young age, she heeded the call of Christ and united with the Phillip Grove Baptist Church.

Throughout her life, Bernice held fast to her belief that work is honorable. For numerous years, she labored untiringly at the Manhattan Shirt Company of Americus. She was a committed, dedicated, and reliable employee.

The strong bonds of friendship and family ties that were so important to her will forever be cherished and remembered by all whom she dearly loved.
