IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bettie Price
Jones
October 30, 1962 – February 14, 2022
Bettie Price Jones was born in Terrell County, Georgia on October 30, 1962, to the late Curtis Price, Sr. and Nell Mae Price.
She received her formal education in the Terrell County School System, graduating from Terrell High School in 1981. Throughout her school years, Bettie was a very lively, energetic student who was a ray of sunshine to teachers, classmates, and close friends. She was actively involved in numerous school functions and activities.
At an early age, Bettie accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She dearly loved the Lord and remained prayerful in her daily walk.
Bettie was united in marriage to Curtis Jones. They shared a love that was strong and a devotion to one another that was unshakeable. As a wife, she supported her husband in all of his undertakings; as a mother, she worked tirelessly to ensure that her children understood the value of hard work and perseverance. For many years, she was a loyal and dedicated employee of Tyson Foods in Vienna, Georgia. No matter what the assignment, she gave her very best and stayed the course until all tasks were completed. Bettie was also a talented and creative seamstress. Over the years, she fashioned garments and provided alteration services for many people who had a deep appreciation for her meticulous sewing skills.
Family and friends meant the world to Bettie and she was deeply committed to them. She had a sweet, jovial spirit and was always willing to help in any situation. Often referred to as a "rock and foundation," she readily welcomed friends and family into her home filled with good conversation, lots of laughs, and mouthwatering meals. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of her life.
On Monday, February 14, 2022, Bettie transitioned from this earthly life in Crisp Cunty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Yvonne Price.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by her beloved husband, Curtis Jones; her children, Kahary Campbell, Kentrio White, and Nakesha White; grandchildren, Quintavious Williams, Avion Campbell, Jaylin Glover, Kahari Campbell, Ja'Miah White, Kaleb White, and Jaliah White; siblings, Annie (R.C.
