Betty Sue Walden Mosley was born in Albany, Georgia on August 16, 1958. She was the daughter of the late Johnny B. and Cora L. Walden.
During the early years of her life, she attended the public schools of Dougherty County.
From a very early age, Marie was nurtured in the Word of God and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She united with the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (now St. Kline Baptist Church) where she served faithfully under the leadership of Reverend Freddie Starling.
She was joined in holy matrimony to Larry Mosley. Together, they nurtured their family with love, kindness, and care and they were blessed with many happy years.
Betty was a strong but gentle woman with a heart of gold. She was compassionate, full of empathy, patient, and kind. She believed deeply in unconditional love, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and delighted in helping and caring for others. To know her was to love and cherish her.
On Friday, September 14, 2018, Betty's earthly journey ended as she answered the Master's call to come home. Although absent from the body, she will forever remain in the hearts of many people. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie Gibson, Johnny Walden, and Jerome Walden.
