Beulah Lee Wallace, daughter of the late Lucille Bell and Amos Marshall, was born in Leary, Georgia on August 5, 1936.
She was educated in the Calhoun County School System. Throughout school, she was a very perceptive young lady with a zeal for learning and took advantage of every opportunity grow through her educational experiences.
At a very early age, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior. She dearly loved the Lord and never ceased to give Him praise.
Beulah was united in holy matrimony to her life-long mate, Elijah Wallace who preceded her in death. They shared a love that was strong while honoring their vows to cherish and respect one another. Their union was blessed with six wonderful children. She was a devoted wife mother, and meticulously well organized homemaker—everything had its place!
Spending time with family and friends was a source of joy for Beulah and she looked forward to spending quality time with them. She was an exceptional cook and enjoyed preparing soulful meals for family, friends, and neighbors. Never one to meet a stranger, her doors were always open to anyone in need. She will be fondly remembered for her graciousness and loving spirit.
On August 26, 2022, Beulah transitioned from this earthly life at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four children, Amos Williams, Catherine Wallace, Laverne Wallace, and Adayna Wallace Clay; and two grandchildren, Michael Angelo and Lakeishia Upshaw..
Her love and memory will forever remain in the hearts of her sons, Ricky (Stephanie) Wallace of Augusta, GA and Stephen Wallace of Albany, GA; two siblings, Willie C. Marshall of Albany, GA and Charlie Mae Marshall of Fort Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren, Monica Williams, Travis Williams, Steve (Lenora) Wallace, Roderick (Kaotris) Wallace, Anthony Wallace, Johnny Clay, Antonio Clay, Nicole Wallace, Ricky Wallace, Jr., Malcolm Wallace, Brianna Wallace, Felecia (AJ) Hurley, Calandra Mathis, Loretta Upshaw, Daysha Brown, Senique Davis, and Stephanie Wallace; a very special niece, Vera Blackshear; best friends, Yvonne Guest and Mary Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
