Obituary
Ms. Blummer Smith was born on September 13,1931 to the late Richard and Edrena Oliver.
She had 3 brothers Richard, Allen and Eddie Will Oliver, all whom preceded her in death.
Blummer later married her childhood sweetheart Sam Smith that she was in love with since elementary school. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and friend. She loved cooking for others. One of her favorite dishes that everyone loved was Turkey and dressing. She also loved fishing, dancing and singing.
Blummer always had a love for God and the Bible. Brother Ulysses Davis started a bible study with the family in 1969. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's witnesses in 1971. She loved preaching and teaching people about Jehovah and his kingdom. When ever she went to the store everyone knew that she wouldn't be back no time soon because she would be preaching to someone. She always had many Bible studies.
She was preceded in death by her husband Sam Smith, daughter Catherine Manning, sons Sam Smith, Jr. and Franklin Smith.
She leaves behind many memories and was survived by 7 children. Arlinda Mathis (Billy) Atlanta Ga., Betty McNeil (Charles) New Jersey, Ester Pittman ( Vincent) Albany Ga., Melvin Richards (Robert) California, Barbara Smith Albany Ga, Angela Smith Atlanta Ga., Deirdra Smith Albany Ga., 15 grand children Melanie Mathis, Makeba King(Benjamin),Tameka Marshall, Shawana Marshall(TW), Miguel Manning, McKenzie Manning, Brent Johnson (Tiffany), Sherilyn Wright, Garrett Isler, Cheryl Richards, Elizabeth Gibson, Sam Gibson, Christopher Green, Charles McNeil ll (Amber), Robert McNeil (Mariah), 15 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the many family and friends for all their support at this time of loss.
