Bobbie Lee Albritten . known as "Uncle Bob" to most, was born in Leary, Calhoun County, Georgia on November 20, 1954, to the late Marie Albritten Robinson and the late Judge "JD" Albritten.
He received his formal education in the public schools of Dougherty County and actively participated in various student activities and events.
Bobbie was a very conscientious individual who took pride in the services he provided as a seasonal worker. Over the years, he labored untiringly—leaving an unwavering footprint for those who would follow after him.
"Uncle Bob" enjoyed being active and especially loved spending quality time with his family and friends. His thoughtfulness, kind deeds, and encouraging words made him a favorite among all who came in contact with him. He will long be remembered as a man with a big heart, a contagious laugh, and a compassionate spirit.
On July 7, 2022, Bobbie quietly departed this earthly life at his residence. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, David Lee Albritten, Ulysess Albritten, and Ricky Lee Albritten.
He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish fond memories fourteen siblings, Annie (Lucius) Crawford, Brenda Charles-Sirham, Joyce (Josh) Ware, Dorothy (Charie) Gardner, Diane (Tyrone) Lee, Jimmy Lee Albritten, Edgar (Dora) Albritten, Jerry Charles (Toleda) Albritten, Marlon (Denise) Albritten, Johnny B. Leveston, Jeffrey Leveston, and Tony Hudson all of Albany, GA, Gail (Andrew) Crenshaw of St. Marys, GA, and Fannie Mallory of Syracuse, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, special friends, and caring neighbors who loved him dearly.
