Bridgett Michelle Jackson was born in Albany, Georgia on November 23, 1965. She was the daughter of the Ora Lee Alford Jackson and the late Johnny Jackson.

She attended the public schools of Dougherty County and was actively involved in numerous school functions and activities.

As a youth, Bridgett accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with the Third Kiokee Baptist Church.

Later in life, she relocated to Macon, Georgia. She later moved back to Albany after facing health challenges.

Bridgett lived a life of kindness and compassion tempered with a vibrant and fun-filled spirit. The joys of her life were her family and friends whom she loved dearly. She was a friend you could depend on—always ready to help in any way that she could. She enjoyed an array of activities, including holiday cooking, family cookouts, and spending special time with her family. Anyone who knew her also knew how much she treasured her family and friends. She will be remembered for her smile, strength, and out-going personality.

On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Bridgett quietly answered the Master's call to come home. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Travis VaShone Jackson.

Tolbert of Dawson, GA; god-uncle, Henry Lee (Gloria) Chambers of Albany, GA; a special friend, Michael Hall; a special father-figure, Daddy Joe Thornton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
