Obituary

Carlton Eugene Ford Jr., affectionately known as Gator was born February 2, 1991 in Albany, Georgia to Mr. Carlton Eugene Ford and Mrs. Melissa English (Williams). He departed this life on November 25, 2017 in St. Charles, Missouri.

At an early age he gave his life to the Lord at Mercer Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor L.B. Gardner and Co-Pastor Betty Gardner.

Gator was educated in the Dougherty County School System where he graduated a proud Albany High School Indian in 2009. He also attended Albany Technical College where he received his certification in DC Repair/Network Technician in 2013.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Willie and Edna Williams and his paternal grandfather William E. Ford Jr.; Aunts: Deloris and Shirley Williams and Uncles: Richard and Andrew Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories: His loving mother and step father, Melissa and James English; His father, Carlton E. Ford; paternal grandmother Hazel Ford (3) sons, Caleb, Cheden and Cris – William and (2) brothers: Sherrod and Phillip; Aunts: Leila Conley (Tom), Co-Pastor Betty Gardner (Pastor L.B.Gardner) and Linda Cutts (Sammy), Yarnia Blackmon, Tresca Roberts (Eddie), Tia Ford-Lawson (Willie); Uncles: Ulysses, Dewitt (Sophia), Roger (Wanda), James and Edward Williams along with a host of cousins and a special friend, Metoyya Robinson and her daughter Naviah, that he loved and enjoyed.
