IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carlton D.
Wright
November 15, 1974 – May 14, 2021
Mr. Carlton Demond Wright, was born on November 15, 1974, in Albany, Georgia. He was born to the late Ms. Nellie Pearl Wright. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Willie (Trudie B.) Wright, Sr., a loving aunt Mrs. Jacqueline Toomer and two special 1 st cousins that were raised as his brother, Mr. Eric Wright and as his sister, Mrs. Chermon Monson Lewis.
Affectionately known as Peanut, he was educated in the Dougherty County School System where he graduated from Albany High School in 1993. He was a hard worker for many years in the Dougherty County School System as a custodian at Monroe High School.
Peanut found excitement in the little things in life such as laughing, watching television and listening to music. He joined the New Testament Baptist Church at a young age.
When the plant has matured and the peanuts are ready for harvest, the farmer waits until the soil is just right. They are pulled up and prepared for its last stage. It is then cured and produced into products used for worldwide uses. The Lord called his servant, Mr. Carlton Demond Wright a.k.a. "Peanut" from labor to reward on Friday, May 14, 2021. He leaves to cherish his memories a dedicated uncle, Mr. Willie Wright, Jr., a devoted aunt, Mrs. Nellie (the late Deacon Eddie, Sr.) Parks, and a fatherly mentor, Mr. Murray Gilbert.
Although Peanut was his mother's only seed planted, he will leave to cherish the memories of his epic dance moves, remembrance of birthdates, and humble spirit to his first cousins; Mrs. Karla (Art) Anderson, Mr. Jermaine Monson, Mr. Tremaine Monson, Mr. Darrell (Patricia) Shorter, Sr., Mrs. Felecia (Tony) Smith, Rev. Alonzo (LaGail) Wright, Sr., and Mr. Tyrone Wright. A host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
Just as the farmer did with his peanuts, God also did with our Peanut. He pulled him up and prepared him for his last stage. Now that he has departed this life, we should use his products of humbleness, meekness, happiness and contentment in our lives.
