Catesha Monique Holsey was born June 22, 1976, in Albany, Georgia. She was the beloved daughter of Dock Holsey and Janice Holsey.
She was educated in the Dougherty County School System, including Albany High School. Throughout school, she was an adventurous young lady with a zeal for learning and actively participated in various student organizations and activities.
Endearingly known as "Tater Chip" by family and friends, Catesha embraced life with open arms. She was a loving mother and grandmother who had a quiet strength, never complained, always had a smile, and often sacrificed her needs for the good of her family. Tater Chip enjoyed cooking, watching various cooking shows, and engaging everyone around her in endless hours of funfilled conversations. Her glowing personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her dearly.
Catesha departed this earthly life on Wednesday, February 15, 2023.
Loving memories of Monique will always be cherished by her parents, Dock Holsey and Janice Holsey; her children, Jorvorius Winbush, Trenise Ponder, Brooklyn Holsey, Jaylin Holsey, and Le'trell Holsey; grandchildren, A'braya Clark, Mi'liah Holsey, Xavier Ponder, Jr., Orenthial Ward, Jorvorius Winbush, Jr., and Princeton Ponder; siblings, Michael Coleman, Kimberly Holsey, Derrick Holsey, and Timothy Spurlin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
