Obituary

Charnard Issac Walker, son of Herman Walker and the late Foristine King, was born in Albany, Georgia on August 5, 1992.

He attended the public schools of Dougherty County where he participated in various school activities.

Having professed his faith and belief in Christ, he united with the Gethsemane Worship Center under the leadership of Bishop Frederick Williams.

Charnard was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who gave of himself freely. For numerous years, he was employed with Academy Sports and the Augusta Marine Base in August, Georgia, and always utilized his resources to help his family without asking anything in return. Charnard enjoyed being active and especially loved spending time with his family and friends. His quick wit and encouraging smile made him a favorite among all who came in contact with him. Charnard lived a life full of fun, love, new and special friendships, and a taste of comradery. He was truly "one of a kind."

On Friday, September 15, 2017, he departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Kwanza L. Banks and Keyortta Peterson; his grandmother, Lillie Mae White; three aunts, Gussie Pearl King, Erma J. King and Carolyn Walker; and three uncles, Phillip King, C. J. King, and Charnard Walker.

He leaves to cherish the memories of his life his parents Herman and Sabrina Walker; four siblings, Rommal (LaQuinta) King, Bobby Wallace, Jimmy Wallace, and Manesseh Wallace of Albany, GA; two aunts, Lilly Ruth Fudge of Albany, GA and Rosa King of Augusta, GA; one uncle, Willie James Lawson of Detroit, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
