Life's journey for Charles Shavers, Jr. began in Neu-Ulm, Germany on March 6, 1984, .  He was the son of Charles Shavers, Sr. and Angela Williams Shavers

He received his formal education in the Dougherty County School System, including Monroe High School. During his school years, Charles was a lively, strong-willed young man who was always ready for adventure and actively participated in numerous activities. He completed his high school graduation requirements at Darsey Private School.

An extremely ambitious and persistent individual, Charles was a "go-getter" who set goals for himself and stayed focused on achieving them throughout his employment with Tyson Foods. No job assignment was too small or too large—he always tackled each task with equal measure.

Charles was a loving son, devoted father, committed brother, caring uncle, unforgettable cousin, and loyal friend who embraced life with open arms.  Family was the center of his life and he took advantage of every opportunity to spend quality time with them.  He had a big heart and nurtured relationships with people that remain to this day his life-long friends.  His love of life, sense of humor and laughter, and energetic personality brought happiness and peace to everyone around him; thereby, creating memories that will always be remembered.

On May 27, 2024, Charles transitioned from this earthly journey.  Although his departure leaves a void, his spirit will live on in those left behind.  He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Titianna Shavers.

Cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of his sons, Jarvorius Barber and Le'Charles McKinney both of Albany, GA; his parents, Angela Shavers and Charles Shavers, Sr.; stepfather, Gregory Jones; siblings, Delonte Shavers, Ayesha Shavers, and Jerica Shavers all of Albany, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
