Charles Riggins, Sr., son of the late Anthony Riggins and Pecola White Riggins, was born April 17, 1965, in Rochester, New York.

He attended the public schools of Dougherty County, graduating from Westover High School. While at Westover, he was a very strong-willed, diehard "Patriot" who participated in numerous student organizations, activities, and sporting events.

Often described as an enthusiastic, free-spirited individual, Charles lived life boldly and bravely walked to the beat of his own drum. Anyone who knew him would agree that he was extremely straightforward, unpretentious, stood up for what he believed in, and didn't "mince any words."

When in the company of family and friends, he was always the "life of the crowd." His sense of humor and laughter kept his family on their toes and captured the attention of everyone around him. Charles enjoyed life and all that it had to offer. In his leisure, he enjoyed playing video games and reveling in his cherished "collectibles."

Devoted husband, loving father, committed brother, caring uncle, unforgettable cousin, and loyal friend, Charles/Chuckie/Chuck had that strong voice of reason when it seemed everything around was falling apart.

He loved the Lord and was grateful for the blessings in his life; he loved his family and never missed an opportunity to spend quality time with them; he loved his friends and had a special bond with them that will always be remembered.

On September 20, 2021, Charles transitioned from this earthly life to his eternal home. Although his tragic departure leaves a void in our hearts,
we all are truly blessed to have been the beneficiaries of his unconditional love, heart-warming laughter, and his courage and strength. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his baby sister, Cynthia; and three siblings, Brenda, Johnny, and Jessie.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by his beloved wife Latasha; his children, Monterin, Jumaane, Jazmyn, Rosenik, Latayshia, Charles Jr., and Reginald; siblings, Virginia, Anthony Jr, Patricia, Alphonso, Richard, Michael, and Theresa; nieces and nephews who dearly loved their favorite
"Uncle Chuckie," and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends..
