Cliff Troutman, Jr. was born on May 14, 1940, in Pelham, Georgia. He was the youngest of six children born to the late Essie and Clifford Troutman.

During the early years of his life, he was educated in the Mitchell County School System and was active in numerous school organizations and activities.

He was united in marriage to Vinnie Walker Stewart who preceded him in death. Their union was blessed with a loving family whom they nurtured with patience, discipline, humility, and love.

Cliff was a hard worker who gave his very best at everything he did. For numerous years, he was employed with the Ford Company in Miami, Florida. He later relocated to Sale City, Georgia with his sister and began his employment with Simmons Farms. Over the years, Cliff labored untiringly and retired after rendering innumerable years of loyal and dedicated service.

"Robert" as he was also called, was a good natured, generous man with a big heart and a pleasure to be around. He believed deeply in unconditional love, enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, treasured spending time with family and friends, and delighted in helping others—never asking anything in return. His love, friendship, commitment, and encouraging words will always be remembered.

On Wednesday, December 12, 2018, Cliff's earthly journey ended as he quietly entered into eternal rest. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his children, Robert Troutman, Jr. and Melina Robin Troutman; four siblings, Clarence (Edna) Troutman, Jessie Troutman, Jewel (Caleb) Lamar, and Lucretia (Rufus) Florence; and his brother-in-law, Charlie Walker.

He leaves fond memories to be cherished by his sister, Agnes Walker of Pelham, GA; a vast number of grandchildren of Tampa, FL; two stepchildren, Pamela Stewart of Miami, FL and Howard Stewart of Cocoa Beach, FL; and a host of other relatives and friends.
