IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Clyde M.
Walls, Jr.
October 3, 1955 – July 18, 2021
Clyde Mack Walls, Jr. was born in Albany, Georgia on October 3, 1955. He was the son of the late Clyde Mack Walls, Sr. and Hazel Walls.
He was educated in the Dougherty County School System and graduating from Dougherty Comprehensive High School in 1973, having developed many skills and talents. In later years after completing his tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps, he attended Albany Technical College in the Truck Driving program.
At an early age, Clyde accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior; was baptized at Israel's Temple Baptist Church; and was a faithful member for many years. He later united with Oakridge Baptist Church where he availed himself in service until his demise.
In addition to his military service, Clyde's professional career was diverse and most rewarding. He was a dedicated and dependable employee of Lyles Brothers Meat Company for many years until its closing. He then transitioned to employment at the Marine Corps Logistics Base where he worked incessantly until his retirement.
Clyde was innately a nurturing and caring individual who embraced life with open arms. Taking care of his loved ones and putting them first was never a second thought—family always came first. From his youth into adulthood, he was constant in providing for his mother and nine siblings and ensuring their well-being. He was a great son and brother who sacrificed his own needs and required nothing in return.
On August 15, 1998, Clyde was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Mollie Mosely. His love for her was unmatched—she was the sparkle in his eyes, the beat of his heart, and the air that he breathed. Together, they embarked on a 23-year journey filled with love and devotion to each other.
Clyde was called to eternal rest on Sunday, July 18, 2021. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by five siblings, Tommy Baker, Johnny Mack Hope, Priscilla Walls, Felton Walls, and Raymond Walls.
Fond memories will forever remain with his beloved wife, Mollie Mosely Walls; his siblings, Vera Watkins of Trenton, NJ, Patricia (Eddie) Daniel, Janice (Simon) Johnson, Ruby (George) Trawick, Jeanette Walls, Melvin Walls, Charles Walls, and Dale (Erica) Walls; aunt and uncle, Mattie Mae Johnson of Albany, GA and Joe Ramey of Tuskegee, AL; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charlie (Vivian) Bass, Eva (Arthur) Robinson, Polly (James) Roberts, Willie Hill, Robert (Latrice) Bass, Patricia (Larry) Bailey, Barbara (John) Williams, Walter L.
