IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Corine B.
Alexander
June 8, 1942 – December 11, 2018
Corine Brown Alexander, beloved daughter of the late Otha Brown and Annie Bell Walker Green, was born on June 8, 1942, in Terrell County, Georgia .
She received her formal education in the Terrell County School System.
At a very young age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and began her Christian journey at Vialulah Baptist Church in Randolph County. After relocating to Albany, Georgia, she united with the Bibleway Baptist Church and continued her walk with the Lord until her demise. She was a dedicated member and served faithfully wherever needed.
She was united in holy matrimony to Charlie Alexander who preceded her in death. Corine was a wife, mother, and homemaker who believed strongly in family ties and responsibilities. Over the years, she was diligent in caring for the needs of her family and ensuring their well-being.
"Lucy" as she was known by many, was a very kind, good natured, and generous lady who was a joy to be around. She was a woman of few words, but her facial expressions said it all. She was a selfless person who saw the beauty in all things; accepted everyone for who they were; and openly welcomed family and friends into her heart and home. She will be missed dearly.
On Tuesday, December 11 2018, Corine departed this earthly life as she entered into eternal rest. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Henry Daniel; and four siblings, Otha Brown, Jr., Jimmy Daniel, Lillie Mae Walker, and Ozella Carter.
Loving memories will be forever cherished by her children, Theresa (Thomas) Hightower, Lillie Bell Blocker, Lester Daniel, Jr., Minnie Daniel (Donny), Dorothy Daniel (Kelvin), Johnny (Betty) Daniel, Betty Daniel, and Mary (Ashley) Henderson all of Albany, GA, and Leroy (Teresa) Daniel of Preston, GA; two sisters, Betty Porter of Albany, GA and Dorothy (Richard) Parker of Atlanta, GA; 43 grandchildren, 85 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren; a special daughter-in-law, Janie Daniel; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and church family.
