Curtis L. Deloney was born in Orlando, Florida on March 3, 1948. He was the beloved son of the late George Deloney, Jr. and Mattie
Seay Deloney.

He was educated in the Orange County Public School System. From a very early age, Curtis was an exceptionally talented artist; molding clay figures, sketching precise drawings, and fusing varied materials to create mixed-media designs—all of which helped console the pain of the passing of his mother when he was nine years old.

Curtis took many detours in life; but, God cradled him and strengthened his spirit which enabled him to face life's challenges and turn them into triumphs. He had a loving heart and desired fervently to help ease others' pain. Through each season of uncertainty, God was with him; guided and directed him; and helped him find his way home. Facing the sunset of this earthly journey, Curtis peacefully transitioned to eternal rest on February 3, 2024. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved daughter and son.

Cherished memories will forever remain with his loving siblings, Lizzie Deloney Harden (Clarence), Calvin Deloney, Paul L. Kittrell (Kelvin),
and Mark Deloney; grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear
friends.
