Danny Lee Snipes was born in Albany, Georgia on April 14, 1986.  He was the son of Lydia Snipes and Danny Horton.

He received his early childhood and secondary education in the Dougherty County School System, graduating from Monroe Comprehensive High School.  While at Monroe he was actively involved in various student activities and school events.

At an early age, Danny accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior.  He was baptized at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church by the late Reverend H. B. Johnson, Jr.

Danny was a very conscientious young man who was no stranger to hard work.  For several years, he was employed by Tyson Foods in Camilla, Georgia.  He later accepted employment as a security officer at the Legend Lounge and Club where he performed his duties and responsibilities with extreme care.

Exceptionally talented and creative, Danny was full of life; outgoing and enthusiastic; and definitely marched to the beat of his own drum.  He was blessed with gifted hands and utilized his talents to repair cars; to design amazing braided hair styles that earned him the title of " Loctician Virtuoso;" and to create art masterpieces on canvas that was displayed in numerous Georgia art museums and the Albany Mall.  He was also an exceptional dancer, skater, singer, and tattooist who danced because he felt  like it; skated across the rink in perfect sync; sang because it was his song; and rendered tattoo services to "show off" his artistic genius.  Danny  enjoyed spending time with family and his quirky sense of humor  drew people to him; thus, forming lasting friendships.   He will be deeply missed.

On January 18, 2023, Danny transitioned from this earthly life.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Horton.

Loving memories will be forever cherished by his parents, Lydia Snipes of Albany, GA and Danny Horton of North Carolina; his children, Quinteris Worthy, Dylan Johnson Snipes, Dmitri Snipes, and Ai'yanna Gardner all of Albany, GA; siblings, Cynthia Johnson, Kenneth (Mylen) Isom, Kevin (Lyric) Millican, Darissa Horton, and Bradley Phillips; niece and nephews, Autumn Johnson, Kendrick Isom, Michael Nix, and Levi Isom; grandparents, Lilliam (James) Sibley and James (Lois) Snipes; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
