IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daryl Anthony
Cauley
March 29, 1988 – December 31, 2022
Daryl Anthony Cauley, son of the late Sheila Cauley, was born in Albany, Georgia on March 29, 1988.
He was educated in the Dougherty County School System and later received his GED in Savannah, Georgia. Throughout school, he was a lively, energetic student who marched to the beat of his own drum and was always ready for adventure.
Daryl accepted Christ as his Savior, was baptized, and united with the Greater Second Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Lorenzo L. Heard. He dearly loved the Lord and remained humble along life's journey.
Skilled in the area of building construction, Daryl was no stranger to hard work. He was employed with various construction companies and worked untiringly to ensure that every task was completed with extreme care and attention.
Daryl was a very enthusiastic, outgoing individual who experienced life to the fullest. He was free-spirited, strong willed, and oftentimes the life of the crowd. His one-of-a-kind personality attracted a wide circle of friends and kept them on their toes. Daryl had an endless reservoir of love for family and took advantage of every opportunity to spend time with them—especially his daughters. He was a loving son and grandson, devoted father, committed brother, caring uncle, and loyal friend who will be deeply missed by all who loved him dearly.
On December 31, 2022, Daryl transitioned from this earthly life. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his great grandmother, uncles, and cousins.
Precious memories will forever be cherished by his daughters, Aladia Robinson and Zariyah Cauley of Albany, GA, and Saleyah Goodson of North Carolina; his brother, Jerry Cauley of Albany, GA; bonus father who raised him as his own son, Jerome McCray of Albany, GA; grandmother, Brenda (Gene) Blinstrup of Leesburg, GA; a very special friend, Courtney Hall of Albany, GA; one nephew; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
