Obituary

Daulton was born in Newark New Jersey to the late Mattie White Banks and Clifford Lampley on January 13, 1963. He was the middle son of Mattie White Banks.

In his early life, he became a Muslim, he converted to Christianity later in life where he remained until his death. His love of God was unwavered.

Daulton received his early childhood and secondary education in the public schools in Newark, New Jersey. He graduated from Weequahic High School in Newark, New Jersey. He owned a courier service that catered to the Newark, New Jersey and New York City area until a tragic accident occurred, where he lost a worker and a friend that left him traumatized. Thereafter, he worked for the Newark/Irvington Public Works Department until his health failed.

When he was not working, he enjoyed partying and having a good time with his family and friends. He was very photogenic and loved taking pictures. He enjoyed his driving duties at the Newark/Irvington Public Works Department. Early in his life family meant everything to him. Following the demise of his mother, the light of his life were his son Dazmier and granddaughter Sevyn.  He loved spending time with his friends reflecting on the past.  He was a very giving and private person when it came to his family and was seen as a protector of the family.

Daulton leaves to cherish his memories a son Dazmier Banks and a daughter Khadijah Strain. He also leaves to cherish his memories, his only sister Helen Banks Williams (David) of Albany, Georgia; granddaughters Sevyn Garnett, Cheyanne Strain, Na'jia Phelps, Ann'jia Strain, and Itali Strain. A nephew Rasheen Johnson a niece Sheeneefah Johnson. He also leaves to cherish his memories six aunts Willa Nunnaley (Eddie) of East Orange, NJ, Bernice Stallings of Newark, NJ, Janice White of Hillside, NJ, Lena Davis of Albany, GA, Angela Roberts (Herman) of Albany, GA, Patricia Thompson (Edward) of Albany, GA. Daulton was preceded in death by his mother Mattie Banks, his brothers Reginald Banks and Alan Banks. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents Willie White Sr. and LeeAnnie (Brown) White, three aunts Eva (Hattie) Wright, Gertrude Avery, and Cherlyn White, also, two uncles to precede him in death Willie White, Jr. and Sammy Lee White. He also has a host of cousins and extended family and friends.
