David Britten, Jr., beloved son of Karen Richardson and David Britten, was born January 17, 1989, in Bainbridge, Georgia.

He attended the public schools of Decatur County, graduating from Bainbridge High School in 2007.  Throughout school, he actively participated in various student organizations and activities.  Shortly after graduation, David moved to Albany, Georgia to begin a new chapter in his life.

From a young age, David attended church with his grandmother, Sally Brown.  He dearly loved the Lord and remained humble and prayerful throughout life's journey.

David was a conscientious, hardworking young man who gave his very best at everything he did.  Over the years, he enjoyed a diverse yet rewarding career at both AHEVA of Albany and Celebrity, Inc. of Sasser, Georgia.  He was a committed employee whose work was defined by unquestionable integrity and high expectations

Family and friends were very important to David and he delighted in spending time with them.  He was a son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend you could depend on and was always ready to help in any way that he could.  He prided himself in having relationships and friendships full of love, humor, and respect.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.

David transitioned from this earthly life on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at his home.  He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sally Brown.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by his parents, Karen (Ulysses) Richardson and David Britten, Sr.; two brothers, Rontavious Britten of Statesboro, GA and Demetrius Williams of Albany, GA; his grandmother, Susie Britten; aunts and uncles, Gloria (Joseph) Anderson, Ferlita Jones, Pauline (Kenneth) Abidde, Beverly Brown, Cleo Hollis, Lee (Anita) Brown, Sr., Willie (Rose) John, and Theo (Queen); one nephew; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
