IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Deloris A.
Christian Alston
November 2, 1955 – June 13, 2017
She moved to Miami, Florida, along with her family where she received most of her formal elementary, secondary and post-secondary education.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the 2nd Mount Zion Baptist Church. Her move to Miami allowed her to continue her Christian services with the congregations of New Birth and Antioch Baptist Churches.
"Lois" loved God and she had a passion for family, good times and fun. She had a zeal for life and what life had to offer. Our father allowed her to get away with "everything" because "sugar she's the baby". Her passion for owning and operating her own business was paramount. She pursued her passion for entrepreneurship by establishing her own businesses. She worked from an early age in many areas: modeling, retail, city government, customer service, accounting and her current position in Fleet Management in North Miami Beach, Florida.
"Lois" had many passions in life and her greatest passion was for the love of God and family. On Tuesday, June 13, 2017 , her earthly journey ended and she entered into her eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, LaVetta "Dear", Carla "Monique and one brother, Eugene "Jr."
She leaves to cherish her family who loved her dearly, - one uncle Carter H. Christian, two sisters, Joann C. Mants, White Hall, AL and James Zenna (Terrence) Griffin, Miami, Florida.
Eleven nieces and nephews—Frederick, Frances, Katanga, Malaika, Kadejah, Kumasi, Malkia, Ashley, Adam, Tyler and Skye. A host of great, great-great nieces and nephews, many relatives and friends.
