Demarcus Jamel Wright, was born in Albany, Georgia on July 15, 1991. He was the son of Tammy Wright and Phillip Thomas.

Demarcus attended the public schools of Worth County and participated in various school functions.

On Thursday, May 11, 2017, he departed this earthly life and entered into eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his brother, Antwone Wright; grandparents, Oliver Thomas, Sr. and Alice Thomas; and his great grandmother, Ida Whaley.

He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memories loving parents, Tammy Wright of Sylvester, GA and Phillip Thomas of Albany, GA; three children, Karma Wright, Kamaria Wright, and Ikiem Jefferson of Sylvester, GA; seven sisters, Danielle Thomas, Dominick Thomas (Willisaac), Natasha Hightower, Tameka Ingram, Vanessa Thomas, Samantha Thomas, and Diamond Thomas; seven brothers, Johntavious Ford, Hubert Ross, Jr., Montravious Thomas (Monierica), Roderick Thomas, Rico Terrell, Aristano Hammond, and Aulden Taylor; grandparents, Deloise Wright and Bobby Wright, Sr. of Sylvester, GA; four aunts, Latasha Wright, Melissa Bell, Beverly (Keith) Harris, and Deborah (Davis) Taylor; six uncles, Gregory Wright, Stevie Wright, Bobby Wright, Jr., Sherrod Wright (Courtney), Edgar Thomas, and James Thomas; a special friend and the mother of his daughters, Yolanda Morris; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
