Derrick Amari Washington, precious son of Derrick Washington, Jr. and Takeesha Muldrow, was born on September 21, 2020.

Despite his short time on earth, he was deeply loved and brought great joy to his family.  His gentle smile and beautiful eyes melted the hearts of those around him.

Heaven's gain was our loss when our angel was called home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2021.  Although absent from our midst, he will forever be in our hearts.

He leaves to celebrate and cherish his short, but very memorable life, his loving parents, Takeesha Muldrow and Derrick Washington, Jr.; five sisters, Jordynn, Cameryn, Nyella, De'Wanah, and Emayah; maternal grandparents, Alden and Willis Muldrow; paternal grandparents, LaShaunda Washington and Derrick (Katina) Washington; aunts and uncles, Lynsey Washington, Amaya Washington, John Muldrow, Matthew Muldrow, and Cameron Woods; godfathers, Isaiah Ford and Nicholas Richardson; and a host of cousins and family friends.
