Diane Davis, beloved daughter of the late Willie Mae Davis and Ivory Fields, was born August 22, 1956, in Albany, Georgia .
She received her formal education in the Dougherty County School System where she was active in various school functions and activities.
At a very early age, she accepted Christ as her Savior and united with the Cutliff Grove Baptist Church. Throughout life, she remained humble and prayerful in her daily walk.
Diane was a good-hearted individual with an endless reservoir of love for family and friends. She was the sunshine in many hearts and never knew a stranger. Anyone who loved and knew Diane definitely knew a lady who was outspoken and true to her word—you could not get anything pass her. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of being a part of her life.
On Thursday, October 15, 2020, Diane transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Tammy Davis and Tammy McIntyre; and three siblings, Jenice Lewis, Willie Lee, and Harry Davis.
Loving memories will be forever cherished by her children, Vontressa Davis, Carlton (Christy) Davis, William (Ryan) McIntyre all of Albany, GA, and David McIntyre of Fort Myers, FL; grandchildren, Shantora Davis, Rylee Reliford, Cayden Davis, Rodrecus James, Dreyel McIntyre, Ashlen McIntyre, Ayana McIntyre, Quavan Davis, Carlston Davis, Carlayia Davis, Christopher Davis, Alexis McIntyre, and Ashley McIntyre; siblings, Allison Davis, Rachel Davis, Madie Davis, and Patricia (Cortez) Collier of Albany, GA, Kimberly Davis of McRae, GA, and Joyce Barnes of Bradenton, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cou sins, and friends.
