Donald Winkfield beloved son of the late Annie Lee Winkfield and Henry Western was born in Albany, Ga December 10, 1958.

During the early years of his life, he attended the public school system of Dougherty County, Monroe High School. While at Monroe he participated in football and numerous school activities.

Having been nurtured in the Word of God by his mother, as a youth he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.

For Donald, family was the center of his life.  He was a nurturing and loving son, father and grandfather who created a home full of love, support and guidance.  He was a hardworking persistent individual who held fast to his belief and professional work ethics and responsibility.  Through his employment as a laborer at Hunts Burial Vault Company.

Donald was a strong but gentle man who relished life in his own way and could see beauty in all things around him and good in everyone.  He truly valued time spent with his family, but most of all with his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews which he adored.  In his spare time he enjoyed cooking and talking on the phone and sometimes having a cold brew on the porch.

On September 1, 2021 Donald Winkfield earthly journey ended as he quietly entered eternal rest.

Loving memories will forever be cherished by his children.  Donald(Yolanda)Winkfield, Dontae Winkfield, Deon Winkfield, Janetta Winkfield, Felicia Winkfield, and Eric Winkfield. Baby brother Larry(Sabrina)Winkfield, Late sister Wanda Winkfield and late wife Diane Winkfield.  Grandchildren, Dontasia, Aiana, Savannah, Donald, Marquise, Terrell, Kentrell, and Eric Winkfield Jr.  Many great nieces and nephews and one of his nieces he loved to call Mermaid(Heavenly).  And a host of other family members and close friends.
