Obituary

Dorien McKenzie Judge was born was born October 1, 2000, in Albany, Georgia.   He was the beloved son of Dedrick C. Kaes, Sr. and Sherrie E. Judge.

He attended the public schools of Dougherty County, including Monroe Comprehensive High School.  While at Monroe, he was active in numerous school organizations and sports activities.  Dorien loved all sports, but his love for football was apparent at an early age.   His natural offense and defense abilities could be seen from the moment he picked up a football.  On the field, he was a workhorse and tough player.  His ability to lay a defensive player flat on his back earned him the coveted title of "The Pancaker" by his classmates and friends.  After graduation, he enrolled in Georgia Military College to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice.

Dorien was a very enthusiastic individual who gave his best at whatever he did.  He had an infectious sense of humor and exuberant personality that touched many who came in contact with him.  He had an endless reservoir of love for his family and friends, and he truly enjoyed the holidays, family gatherings, and cookouts that he shared with them.  He leaves an unmatched footprint in the hearts and minds of those who were privileged to be a part of his life.

On Friday, September 27, 2019, Dorien departed this earthly life at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.  He was preceded in death b his sister, Nicole B. Judge.
