Dorsey R. Walker Jr. was born in New York City on August 16, 1974 to Annie Cullen Walker and the late Dorsey R. Walker Sr.

Dorsey attended the public schools in Calhoun and Dougherty counties, graduating from Monroe Comprehensive High School where he was active in athletics and was affectionately known as "Sky Walker".

Dorsey accepted Christ as his Savior early in life and joined his home church Eureka Baptist Church in Leary, Ga.  He was a member of Junior Usher Board.

After graduation Dorsey joined the Unites States Navy and was assigned to service on the USS Independence.

He served as a correctional officer at the Calhoun County State prison as a Lieutenant for 10 years. He relocated to Virginia and worked as a Defenses Commissary Agency Employee in 2017.  Dorsey relocated back to Albany where he worked at the Marine Corps Logistics Base as a DECA currently.

On December 19, 2021, Dorsey transitioned to a new home with his Lord and Savior.

He is preceded in death by his father, Dorsey Sr. and two brothers; Tony and Marvin, his maternal grandmother Willie Mae Palmer Cullen, maternal grandfather Willie Lee Cullen, his paternal grandmother, Mamie Walker, one aunt Mary Cullen

Dorsey is already missed by his family and friends.  The memories of Dorsey will forever and ever be in our hearts.

Dorsey leaves a devoted loving mother, Annie Walker, a caring loving sister, Natalie Walker Molden (LaMarcus) a sweet loving daughter, Natalia Walker, two nephews he adored; Noah and Nigel Molden, a sweetheart, Andreaus Baker, three brothers; Gary Walker, Gregory Walker and Quinton Allen, three aunts; Beverly Cullen, Sheila Cullen and Jacqueline Cullen Kennedy (Rick) three uncles; Willie Lee Cullen Jr, William Cullen (Rudella) and Rufus Cullen, four great aunts; Patti Rodgers, Anita Gambrill (Mike), Eva Johnson (Jim) and Dothory Johnson (John), two great uncles; Willie Jones (Ora) and William Harris and other cousins and friends.
