Obituary

A Time to Be Born: Ebony Tameka Wilson was born in Albany, Georgia on October 29, 1982.  She was the beloved daughter of the late Reatha Roberts and the late Freddie Wilson.

A Time to Learn: She attended the public schools of Dougherty County, including Dougherty Comprehensive High School.  Throughout her school years, she was actively involved in numerous student organizations and activities.

A Time to Plant: Early in life, Ebony planted her faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and remained steadfast as she journeyed through life.

A Time to Love: Ebony was a loving and caring mother who was a nurturer at heart.  She always put her family first, was selfless with her love, and was diligent in providing unconditionally for her children.  For numerous years, she utilized her talents as a self-employed hair stylist to make her clients look and feel their best.  She loved her profession and was very passionate about her work.  Over the years, she created a distinctive signature style known as  "Ebonized."

A Time to Embrace: Ebony was a very kind and gentle-hearted person who embraced life's experiences with open arms.  She truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and her engaging personality captured the hearts of all who knew her.

A Time to Rest :  On Thursday, July 30, 2020, Ebony was called from her earthly labor to eternal peace and rest.   She will long be remembered for her kindness of heart and beautiful, gigantic smile.

A Time to Cherish: Fond memories will forever be cherished by her loving children, Le'Rante Joffrion and Morgan Wilson of Albany, GA; grandchildren, Major Joffrion and Ky'Ris Joffrion; siblings, Troy (Seqaous) Williams, Latasha King, and Leshunda King all of Albany, GA, and Jamie Roberts of Bradenton, FL; nephews and nieces, Jalen, evan, Christopher, Corrin, and Ka'Myah; a caring uncle, Eddie Robert of Sarasota, FL; a special family friend, Donna Webb Joffrion; and a host of cousins, godsisters, extended family, and friends
