A TIME TO BE BORN:
Eddie Chaney, Jr. was born on February 5, 1943 in Albany, Georgia to the late Eddie, Sr. and Edna Chaney.
A TIME TO LEARN:
Eddie, Jr. was educated in the Dougherty County School System.
A TIME TO BUILD UP:
Eddie, Jr. was a hard worker and retired from the Albany Oil Mill after several years of service.
A TIME TO LAUGH:
Eddie, Jr. touched many lives by his love and his heart of giving. The laughter and joy he displayed will always be remembered through his heartfelt kindness and compassion. He leaves an unlimited number of happy memories behind and will always hold a special place in the hearts of many. The legacy of his life will live on throughout eternity.
A TIME TO REST:
Eddie, Jr. departed this earthly life on May 8, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
A TIME OF PEACE:
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, three daughters, Stephanie (Gregory) Brown of Albany, GA, Tonja R. Chaney of Niagara Falls, NY, and Larenda Teresea (Michael) Zackery of Albany, GA; three sons, Eddie D. (Jenyne) Chaney of Niagara Falls, NY, Herbert Yancey of AL, and Eddie B. (Linda) Chaney of Albany, GA; one son preceded him in death, Teddy Barber; three sisters, Ruby Green of Albany, GA, Arma Williams of Sylvester, GA, and Juanita Price of Wichita, KS; four sisters preceded him in death, Mattie Bell Perry, Willie Mae Davis, Mary Lean Thornton, and Ernestine Chaney; twenty-two grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
