Eddie "Charlie" James Hall was born on April 16, 1946 to the late John Henry Hall and Iola Hall in Calhoun County.

In 1965 he was united in Holy Matrimony to Corene Winbush. To this union four children were born;  Reginal Hall, Rodney Hall, Michael Hall, and Darrin Hall.

Eddie was educated in the public schools of Calhoun County. He confessed to Christ at an early age and joined Spring Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Eddie moved to Orlando, Florida in 1966 where he resided until his death. He worked as a professional painter with various companies until his retirement.

Eddie had a personality that would light up a room and he was loved by all.

On August 19, 2021, God called his soldier home to take his rest. He was preceded in death by his parents; John Henry and Iola Hall; two sons: Rodney Hall and Darrin Hall; two brothers: Tift Hall and Bobby Hall; and one sister: Iola DeSha Hall.

Eddie leaves to cherish his memories to two sons; Reginald Hall and Michael (Renee') Hall: daughter Crystal Collins of Orlando Fla.; sisters: Eva Nelson, Dorothy Hall, Shirlene Gulley, Carolyn (Nathaniel) Wells, Mary Hall, Gloria Hall; brothers: John L. Hall, John E. (Phyllis) Hall, Elijah Hall; eight grandchildren, ten great-grand children, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved and will miss him dearly.
