Obituary

Eddie Jay Ware, affectionately known as "BaBro" was born on November 6, 1957 in Terrell County, Georgia to James and Eva Ware. BaBro was the second sibling of eight children.

BaBro was educated in the public school system of Dougherty County.  At an early age, he heeded the call of Christ and was baptized at Mount Carmel Freewill Baptist Church in Calhoun County.

BaBro was a man of many talents, with a strong belief in working hard; there was never a time in his adult life that he was without a job.  He began his work history employed at Moree's Packing Company, MidSouth Ice Company and later started his career in construction at Daniel's Construction in Albany, GA.   BaBro had a desire for a change at this station in his life; a new place to dwell.  In the mid-90s, BaBro made a permanent decision to relocate to Chattanooga, TN to be closer to his oldest brother Jesse and sister-love Linda Ware.  He continued his career working with Arcadis U.S., Inc as a land surveyor. BaBro health began to fail and was no longer able to work as a surveyor; however, he continued his desire to work and began his lawn service business working for family and friends.  BaBro took pride in his life and no matter what the task he kept a smile on his face.  He had a strong love and bond for his mother, his children, grandchildren and siblings.  Throughout his life he developed a loving relationship with co-worker and people he met along his journey in life.  When his health began to get the best of him, BaBro continued to go the last mile of the way smiling and encouraging family and friends.

On Saturday, October 22, 2002, the Lord called BaBro to rest from his labor to his eternal resting place.

He was preceded in death by his father James Ware, daughter Contessa Zackery-Davis and siblings; Randy Dennard Garrett and Nikki Annette McGhee.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory; his loving mother; Eva Mae McGhee, Albany, GA, two daughters; Kacey Antionette Ware, Edison, GA and Kayla Vontressia Ware, Chattanooga, TN, three brothers; Jesse (Linda) Ware, Chattanooga, TN, Carl (Marva) Garrett Sr. and James (Lasaunda) Garrett II, Albany, GA two sisters; Betty Jackson Johnson, Albany, Ga and Angie(Gary) Simon, College Park, GA, one son-in-law, Auguste Davis Sr. Marietta, GA six grandchildren; Kiere Tenee' Davis, Jordan Jatessia Davis, Auguste Davis Jr., Zykia.
