IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Edna Mae
Perry
June 15, 1938 – October 20, 2019
Edna Mae Perry , beloved daughter of the late Mack Perry and Edna Bigelow Perry, was born in Mitchell County, Georgia on June 15, 1938.
During the early years of her life, she was educated in the Mitchell County School System. She later relocated to New York to pursue a career in Healthcare. For more than 30 years, she labored patiently in the healthcare industry and retired after engaging in a long, rewarding career.
At a young age, Edna accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was a faithful member of New Salem Missionary Baptist Church of Baconton, Georgia and remained obedient in her walk with the Lord through the years.
Edna was a very perceptive, good-natured, and genuine person who was a joy to be around. Her heart was filled with love and compassion, she saw the highest potential in everyone, and her family meant the world to her. She had a selfless spirit and never hesitated to encourage and support others. Considered by many as a wise and trusted counsel, Edna was a strong but humble lady who will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of being a part of her life.
On October 20, 2019, Edna answered the Master's call to eternal rest. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Garfield Perry and Mack Perry, Jr.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by her nieces and nephews, Betty Jean (Mack) Perry Rogers, Elaine Perry, Shirley (Ronnie) Duncan, Susie Perry, Mary Ann Perry, Willie Frank Perry, Eugene Perry all of Albany, GA, Ricky Perry of Tifton, GA, and Jeffery (Shontay) Perry of Atlanta, GA; a special cousin, friend, and travel companion, Hattie Bigelow Key; a devoted and caring friend, Christine Brown; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
